Paddy Abd Halim is new Customs D-G

Datuk Paddy Abd Halim has been appointed the new Customs Department director-general effective April 1, says the Finance Ministry.

Its minister Lim Guan Eng said Paddy’s appointment was to replace Datuk Seri Subromaniam Tholasy who had retired on March 9.

Lim said Paddy started his career as the Customs officer at the Perak Royal Malaysian Customs Department in 1983.
